Thank you for visiting my website. I am currently the Member of Parliament for Glasgow Central, a constituency which is socially and culturally diverse and which I am proud to represent. Glasgow Central covers Anderston, Merchant City, Garnethill and Townhead in the City Centre, Bridgeton, Calton and Dalmarnock in the East of the City and Pollokshields, Govanhill and the Gorbals on the South side.

When first elected to Parliament in 1997 my first priority was to open an easily accessible constituency office, I have always operated an open door policy for I believe that I am here to serve my constituents and I must make myself as available as possible. I believe this relaxed arrangement means my constituents can access assistance whenever they require it.
